Parameters

s  String
The String to split.
separator  Char
A character that delimits the substrings in s.
options  StringSplitOptions  (Optional)
An enumeration value that specifies whether to include empty substrings.

Return Value

String
An array whose elements contain the substrings from s that are delimited by separator.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
