Parameters

span ReadOnlySpanChar: The read-only span to search.
values SearchValuesPolyfillChar: The set of characters to search for.

Return Value

Int32
The zero-based index of the last occurrence of one of the specified Unicode characters in span or -1 if none of these characters have been found.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type ReadOnlySpanChar. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

Caution

This is a polyfill that does not have the performance benefits of System.Buffers.SearchValues<T> when used with framework versions lower than .NET 8.0.
