Parameters

span ReadOnlySpanChar: The source span from which the characters are removed.
trimChars String: The String which contains the set of characters to remove or null to remove whitespace characters.

Return Value

ReadOnlySpanChar
The trimmed read-only character span.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type ReadOnlySpanChar. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

If trimChars is null or empty, whitespace characters are removed instead.
