Parameters

span  SpanChar
The source span from which the characters are removed.
trimElements  String
The String, which contains the set of characters to remove, or null.

Return Value

SpanChar
The sliced span.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type SpanChar. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

If trimElements is null or Empty, the span is returned unaltered.

The method performs an ordinal character comparison.
