Definition

Namespace: FolkerKinzel.Strings
Assembly: FolkerKinzel.Strings (in FolkerKinzel.Strings.dll) Version: 9.4.0+10a7d4d71aa960998e32ac0ac6c4fcbe4164c917
C#
public static bool ContainsAny(
	this string s,
	ReadOnlySpan<char> anyOf
)

Parameters

s  String
The String to search.
anyOf  ReadOnlySpanChar
A read-only character span that contains the characters to search for.

Return Value

Boolean
true if one of the characters to be searched for is found in s, otherwise false. If s or anyOf have the length zero, false is returned.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

If the length of anyOf is less than 5, the method uses MemoryExtensions.IndexOfAny<T>(ReadOnlySpan<T>, ReadOnlySpan<T>) for the comparison. If the length of anyOf is greater, String.IndexOfAny(char[]) is used.
