Namespace: FolkerKinzel.Strings
Assembly: FolkerKinzel.Strings (in FolkerKinzel.Strings.dll) Version: 9.4.0+10a7d4d71aa960998e32ac0ac6c4fcbe4164c917
C#
public static int LastIndexOfAny(
	this Span<char> span,
	ReadOnlySpan<char> values
)

Parameters

span  SpanChar
The span to examine.
values  ReadOnlySpanChar
A read-only character span that contains the characters to search for.

Return Value

Int32
The zero-based index of the last occurrence of one of the specified Unicode characters in span or -1 if none of these characters have been found. If values is an empty span, the method returns -1.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type SpanChar. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

If the length of values is less than 5, the method uses MemoryExtensions.LastIndexOfAny<T>(Span<T>, ReadOnlySpan<T>) for the comparison. If the length of values is greater, String.LastIndexOfAny(char[]) is used to avoid performance issues.
